DESIGN

Inspiration is at the forefront of the design process and Zero's designs are powered by ethical decisions

DEVELOPMENT

Once a design has been processed, it then has to be edited to fit around a zero waste pattern and ethical material choices. Sometimes it is the pattern that leads the design.

PATTERN CUTTING

Each pattern has to be zero waste, anything left over will be worked into the design or saved for other works. We will trace this so you can be assured that nothing is wasted.

Each fabric is sourced from certified suppliers that prioritise ethical choices. They are also selected to maximise longevity and the colour schemes will always fit into your capsule wardrobe.

LASTING FINISHES

Each garment has been carefully finished with the appropriate finishing's to extend the longevity of the piece

YOU IN MIND

The garments have been designed, developed, and manufactured with you in mind. The pieces are here to provide an ethical choice which doesn't feel alien and still holds practicality

When visiting the store, you have the choice to buy pre-manufactured or customise your own. This allows the garment to feel more personal to you with a more snug fit and individual style

PACKING AND SHIPPING

The ethical choices are well thought through from begining to end with no exception with packaging and postage. The garments are packed in a way to give them more love and respect. The tissue paper can be re-used or recycled and the better packaging can be composted.

BUT WHAT ABOUT FABRIC WASTE?

Any fabric which wasn't used in the manufacture process is put to one side to be used in other projects. The off-cut threads are also saved, eventually there will be enough for padding in a zero waste textile piece.

WHAT ABOUT EXCESS STOCK?

Garments available are pre-made in very small quantities and the sale quantity is closely monitored to make sure over production doesn't occur
